Volunteer

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteers are key to our ability to continue to offer artistic programming to the public and workshops/education events . There are many ways to get involved.  Volunteers are essential for keeping the operation running smoothly both during and between productions. and there are many ways to get involved.

Board Member

The Apollon is currently accepting applications for volunteer Board positions.

Apollon fans, followers and friends, are you looking for an opportunity where you can make a difference in the Omaha arts scene? Do you have a passion for the arts, time and talent to give? We would like to invite you to become a part of our leadership family.

No prior Board or artistic experience is required. Prior and existing Board members have had a variety of experiences business, accounting, marketing, fundraising, the arts, and so much more .

The Apollon is a uniquely intimate, immersive and interactive art space that supports developing artists of many talents including visual arts, music, and performing arts.

Opportunities are available at the Apollon for individuals or groups interested in volunteering their time and talent.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Summer Arts Camp Assistant (in June)

  • Gallery Attendant - Help to cover opening of the gallery for art exhibits.

  • Family Art Days - Help to plan events, set up art stations, and work with families to prepare art activities during event.

  • Photography/Videography (possible Intern) - Help us to capture the moment by taking pictures and/or videos during various arts events.

  • General Office - We currently have a need for scanning of paper records.

  • Digital Marketing (possible Intern) - Create and post various marketing pieces to build awareness of the Apollon and promote various events.

  • Website Design (possible Intern) - Use your website design skills to update our website to create a vibrant, engaging and user friendly space that the public can learn more about what we do and how to engage.

  • Theatre Help - Miscelleneous opportunities available for each production.
